Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of yoga practices and principles, with the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all levels. As a Yoga Instructor, you will lead classes, educate participants on proper techniques, and promote overall wellness through the practice of yoga.
Must be available week days between 2:30 and 5:30 pm starting August 11.
Duties
- Conduct engaging and safe yoga classes for individuals of varying skill levels, ensuring proper alignment and technique.
- Educate students on anatomy knowledge, body mechanics, and the benefits of yoga practices.
- Design and implement effective class programs that cater to the needs and goals of participants.
- Incorporate elements from related disciplines such as Pilates or cycle to enhance class offerings.
- Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve personal teaching methods through professional development.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Yoga Instructor or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, and program design related to fitness.
- Experience in sports coaching or fitness sales is a plus.
- Familiarity with various yoga styles and techniques to accommodate diverse clientele.
- Ability to communicate effectively and inspire students in their wellness journey.
