Day Program: Camp Leader for Youth
Be an integral part of youth or adolescent lives this school year! Camp Clover offers evening respite camps for youth and adolescents grades 4-12 who struggle with mental illness, developmental delays, cognitive delays, autism, and other similar diagnoses.
Camp Clover offers a structured but fun growing and learning experience in the heart of downtown Janesville. We focus on social, emotional, and community learning experiences. Our schedule includes homework time, social skills, life skills YMCA time and more!
Candidates to lead groups of up to 4 participants should possess the following characteristics:
- Motivated to work with youth
- Emotional and empathetic maturity to deal with high emotions of others occasionally
- Dependable
- Energetic and able to be a strong leader
- Follow a detailed scheduled and lesson plan
- Be flexible with schedule or participant changes
- Be able to work as a team with other respite camp leaders
Important information about the position:
- Youth staff hours are 3:45pm-8:15pm and are Monday-Thursday.
- The dates for youth to attend are September 2 through June 4; staff will need to start prior to this for training.
- Staff will also have the opportunity, if desired, to work in the program’s summer day camp in 2026.
Other REQUIRED qualifications include:
- Experience working with this population, or with general youth population at a minimum
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years old
- Must have a reliable transportation to/from job site.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
