We are looking for an experienced analyst who will work as a member of Squares Operations Finance & Strategy team, and who will directly influence key elements of Squares strategic decision making, operational execution, and financial forecasting. You will also play a critical role in building the analytical capabilities and delivering insights that will inform decisions regarding Squares investments

across a range of operating functions and will partner directly with members of the executive team to drive favorable outcomes for Square.

You will:

  • Apply an analytical approach to support strategic decision making, with a focus on building the foundations for scalable, enterprise-level operating efficiency

  • Partner with key operating teams across Square, including the Legal, Corporate Development, Communications, Compliance and People functions to optimize financial planning processes, policies, and the implementation of key team initiatives

  • Develop KPI frameworks to track team-specific and company-wide trends, identify opportunities, clearly communicate recommendations, and collaborate across all levels of the organization

  • Distill data and create analyses that will facilitate clear and timely decision making; improve visibility and usability of our existing data, and use that data create measurable goals

  • Prepare analysis and support communications with board members and executive staff

  • Partner with the People organization to evaluate personnel-related programs and investments

  • Build trust through numerically-driven insights and analysis
