Responsibilities

  • Take the clauses supplied by the compliance manager (after compliance checks are complete) and the title information, and generate them onto pre-populated New Zealand Law Society Sales & Purchase Agreement templates
  • Work under the company login to the New Zealand Law Society system
  • Drag and drop title information and compliance-supplied clauses into the templates
  • Ensure clean, correct input
  • above basic admin level, including: Checking that clause numbers are correct Distinguishing between a Sales & Purchase Agreement and an Auction Agreement (some clauses have overlap) Verifying that the language used is appropriate for whichever agreement type it is going on Prompt communication between solicitors and salespeople regarding amendments and approvals of agreements

Requirements

  • Legal or New Zealand experience: Not required -this is a template-based, drag-and-drop process

  • Technical level: Not overly technical, but the candidate needs a bit of savvy and initiative -someone who can read between the lines, correct clause numbers, and pick up on nuances over time

  • Suitable backgrounds: Legal admin, contracts administration, insurance, or banking; strong general admin experience is also acceptable

  • Legal background: Some legal background is preferred for added confidence from the start, though not mandatory

  • Excel: An expert is not required

  • eForms (or similar): Experience is beneficial but not required

    • Work Setup: Flexible Work Arrangement
    • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM PHT fixed start time (9 hours per day, inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
