QA Test Engineer (Automation)

Rate: 140 PLN/h net + VAT, B2B

Location: Warsaw / Gdańsk / Gdynia (hybrid - 3 days per week in office)

Summary

The QA Test Engineer role is focused on enhancing test automation processes within the delivery team. The primary goal is to reduce manual testing efforts and improve the efficiency of testing through automated solutions.

Main

Responsibilities

• Implement automated test cases in coordination with developers, manual testers, product owners, and business experts.
• Reduce manual testing needs by automating front-end and back-end processes.
• Conduct performance testing in compliance with standards using JMeter.
• Gather and manage test data necessary for testing.
• Monitor, debug, and document test results.
• Proactively drive improvements to automated test coverage.

Key

Requirements

• General testing knowledge (e.g., level of ISTQB Foundation)
• Ability to lead and support QA activities across the delivery team
• Willingness to improve skills in test automation
• Effective communication skills to promote automation focus within the team
• 7+ years of hands-on test automation experience (GUI and REST)
• Coding skills in Java
• Experience with testing tools (Maven, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, Postman)
• Fluent in using GIT
• Knowledge in non-functional testing, especially performance testing (JMeter)
• Familiarity with test management tools (preferably qTest)
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Bamboo)

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on manual testing experience
• Good presentation and communication skills
