Middle/Senior Backend Engineer

You will build and maintain Go backend services for the Xsolla ID platform. You will implement OAuth and OIDC flows, extend identity-management integrations, optimize databases, and support reliable microservices. You will write tested code, troubleshoot production issues, collaborate on SDK integrations, review code, and maintain technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Go backend services for the Xsolla ID platform
• Design and implement OAuth 2.0 and OIDC flows, token introspection, and refresh strategies
• Extend the Ory-based authentication API and plugin architecture
• Apply web-security practices for cookies, CSRF, XSS, tokens, TLS, and sessions
• Optimize PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and CockroachDB performance
• Build reliable and scalable microservices
• Contribute to the zero-downtime migration from legacy Xsolla Login
• Write unit and integration tests
• Collaborate on SDK and widget integrations
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation
• Support and troubleshoot production authentication systems

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial Go experience
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis query optimization and indexing
• Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OIDC flows or strong motivation to learn
• Knowledge of CSRF, XSS, cookie security, and TLS
• Experience with Docker and docker-compose
• Git proficiency and collaborative development experience
• Knowledge of Nginx configuration
• Experience writing unit tests and maintaining code quality
• English reading skills for technical documentation
