About the role

Insavlo is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer (Pre-sales & Delivery) based in Singapore.

This is a hands-on technical role combining AI engineering, software development, technical pre-sales, implementation and customer delivery. You will work closely with Insavlo’s engineering team, enterprise customers, research institutions and technology partners to design, deploy and improve AI-powered document intelligence solutions.

This role is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career candidates with up to 2 years of experience who enjoy building real-world AI solutions and working directly with customers.

You will gain exposure to LLMs, multimodal AI, Document AI, model training, APIs, enterprise integration and production deployment across projects in Singapore and Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Insavlo’s AI and document intelligence capabilities using Python.
• Build scripts, APIs, data processing pipelines, prototypes and integration components.
• Design, test and optimise prompts and workflows for LLM-based document understanding and information extraction.
• Assist with dataset preparation, model training, fine-tuning, evaluation and benchmarking.
• Support lightweight frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript and Vue.js where required.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical workshops, product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
• Support technical pre-sales activities, including solution design, technical clarification and POC preparation.
• Implement and integrate Insavlo solutions with customer APIs, databases, systems and business workflows.
• Support projects from POC through production go-live and post-deployment technical support.
• Troubleshoot deployment and integration issues and work with the engineering team to continuously improve the solution.
• Collaborate with research institutions and technology partners in Singapore on AI model development, experimentation and optimisation.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong foundation in Python and software development.
• Good understanding of APIs, JSON and basic system integration.
• Strong interest in Large Language Models, Generative AI and applied machine learning.
• Basic understanding of model training, fine-tuning, inference and model evaluation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work on real customer problems.
• Strong ownership and ability to drive tasks from problem definition to working solution.
• High initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Fast learning ability and willingness to quickly pick up unfamiliar technologies and business domains.
• Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Language requirement

Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required, as the role involves regular technical discussions, customer engagements and project delivery with clients and partners in Singapore, Southeast Asia and Greater China.
