Autonomy Integration Software Engineer

You will develop, deploy, and validate software systems for autonomous vehicles. You will integrate sensors, autopilots, APIs, and communication systems; deploy and test software in field environments; improve CI/CD processes; validate behavior in simulation; and document system work.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and validate software systems on autonomous vehicles
• Deploy and test software in real-world field environments
• Integrate sensors and vehicle autopilot systems
• Deploy and optimize perception pipelines and autonomy software
• Support inter-vehicle communication systems
• Integrate third-party software and APIs
• Improve software integration and CI/CD processes
• Validate vehicle systems in simulation before field deployment
• Document processes, system status, and improvements

Requirements

• MS or PhD in robotics engineering, computer science, computer engineering, optimization, or equivalent, or 5 years of relevant multi-agent autonomy design experience
• 2+ years of professional industry experience
• Proficiency with Linux and command-line tools
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++
• Experience with robotic systems, sensors, and vehicle autopilots
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
• Knowledge of DDS, UDP, ROS2, or other inter-vehicle communication protocols
• Experience integrating third-party software and APIs
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25%
• U.S. citizenship
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
