Electrical Systems Integration Engineer

You will lead the design of automotive-grade wire harness and electrical distribution systems. You will route harnesses, cables, and connectors, develop bills of materials and specifications, create CAD designs, coordinate delivery across teams, and work with suppliers on vehicle-platform solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design routing and retention for harnesses, cables, and connectors
• Develop bills of materials and wire and material specifications
• Create and manage CAD models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks and Altium
• Design low-voltage, high-voltage, and high-speed vehicle interconnects
• Coordinate cross-functional program delivery
• Work with OEMs, vendors, and partners to identify wire harness solutions

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Systems, Electrical, Hardware, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 2+ years of automotive wire harness design experience
• Knowledge of the IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard
• Experience designing harnesses for low-voltage and high-voltage applications
• Knowledge of ISO 6722 and SAE J1128 standards
• Ability to source, manage, and maintain vendor and supplier relationships
