Engineering Manager - Perception Self-Driving Systems

You will own the end-to-end perception model, including its architecture, training, evaluation, and deployment. You will drive a camera-first strategy, investigate performance regressions, optimize models for embedded devices, work with customer programs, and lead and develop perception engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own perception model architecture, training, evaluation, and deployment
• Drive a camera-first perception strategy
• Lead training, evaluation, iteration, and failure-analysis cycles
• Own model performance across deployment environments and driving conditions
• Manage model quantization and deployment on embedded compute
• Translate customer sensor, operating-domain, and performance requirements into model and data strategies
• Recruit, develop, and technically lead perception engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of machine learning or deep learning experience in perception or 3D scene understanding
• 2+ years of perception-team management experience
• Experience training and deploying vision models at scale
• Experience building production camera-only or camera-first perception systems
• Experience deploying perception models to embedded hardware under real-time latency and compute constraints
• Python and C++ software engineering skills
• Experience scaling perception models across geographies, sensor configurations, or vehicle platforms
