Lead the Guest Experience at Patriot Place
The Renaissance Boston Patriot Place Hotel is looking for an engaging, energetic, and guest-focused Front Office Manager to lead our Front Desk and Night Audit teams. Located at the heart of Patriot Place, one of the region’s premier destinations for dining, entertainment, shopping, and events, our hotel is anything but ordinary.
As Front Office Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable stays for our guests while building an exceptional team culture for our associates. You’ll be the leader who sets the tone—from the first welcome at the Front Desk to the final goodbye—and ensures every guest interaction reflects the service and hospitality our hotel is known for.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Front Office and Night Audit teams, ensuring exceptional guest service and adherence to Colwen Hotels and brand standards.
- Inspire, coach, and develop associates to reach their full potential and create a positive, engaged team environment.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard Front Office associates who share our passion for hospitality.
- Set clear departmental goals and priorities while keeping the team focused on delivering an outstanding guest experience.
- Create and champion associate engagement, recognition, and development initiatives.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with team members and lead with professionalism, respect, and authenticity.
- Manage Front Office staffing, scheduling, supplies, uniforms, and operational needs.
- Monitor associate performance and provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development.
- Understand and manage budgets, operating statements, payroll, and departmental expenses.
- Oversee credit and cash-handling procedures, daily house counts, and financial controls.
- Bring the brand’s service culture to life and ensure every guest interaction exceeds expectations.
- Welcome VIP guests and coordinate personalized services and special arrangements.
- Review daily Front Office activity and Night Audit reports, addressing concerns quickly and effectively.
- Take ownership of guest concerns and turn challenges into opportunities to create positive experiences.
- Coach the team on effectively managing occupancy, rates, wages, and controllable expenses.
- Identify service trends and develop creative solutions that continually elevate the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Jump in wherever needed to support the hotel and deliver an exceptional experience for our guests.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a hospitality leader who brings energy, confidence, and a genuine passion for people to the Front Office.
- Two-year college degree or equivalent hospitality experience preferred.
- At least one year of hotel Front Desk supervisory experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proven leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Highly organized, reliable, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with common computer software programs.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

$67,000–$70,000 annually
