Industrial Designer

You will develop hardware design concepts from sketches through production, build and iterate physical prototypes, and communicate design intent through CAD, CMF strategy, and documentation. You will collaborate on technical engineering challenges and ship features in rapid release cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware design themes from sketches and prototypes through production
• Build and iterate physical prototypes with human factors in mind
• Ship new features in five-week release cycles
• Communicate design intent through sketches, CAD, prototypes, CMF strategy, and documentation
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and business development on technical challenges

Requirements

• 4+ years of industrial design experience
• Experience prototyping and developing hardware for software in fast-paced technical environments
• Knowledge of human factors
• Ability to translate complex engineering constraints into intuitive designs
• Ability to work with incomplete feature scopes and fragmented information
• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction or a related design field
