OTA Cloud Validation Engineer New Grad 2027

You will design and run OTA update test cases on HIL benches and vehicles, investigate failures with development teams, and verify fixes. You will automate testing in Python, maintain HIL and vehicle-integration environments, validate functionality, and document results and requirements traceability.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute OTA update test cases on HIL benches, lab vehicles, and prototype vehicles
• Collect logs, reproduce OTA defects, and verify fixes with systems and development teams
• Write and maintain Python automated test scripts
• Set up, configure, and maintain HIL environments and vehicle-integration rigs
• Validate vehicle functionality before and after OTA updates with software and systems teams
• Maintain test cases, record results, and preserve requirements traceability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Graduation by December 2026 or Summer 2027
• Basic Python programming skills
• Linux command-line familiarity
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Interest in embedded systems and automotive software testing
• Written and verbal communication skills
• At least 1 year of experience in any field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
