Title: Paid Search Specialist

If you’re looking to build a career in digital marketing with a growing company, Acme Tools is looking for a Paid Search Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you’ll help manage and optimize paid search campaigns while staying up to date on digital marketing trends, Google Ads best practices, and changes across the industry. You’ll use data and analytics to identify opportunities, improve campaign performance, and develop strategies that drive sales and maximize ROI.

The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who pays attention to the details, enjoys learning, and is comfortable working with data. Experience with product feeds, digital advertising platforms, analytics, and ecommerce is a plus. Most importantly, you should be someone who takes initiative, looks for ways to improve, and enjoys figuring out what works.

What You’ll Take Ownership Of:

  • Optimizing digital paid strategy by managing paid search, pay-per-click, display ads, remarketing and other emerging digital paid platforms to ensure lead-generating engagement, brand consistency, and a positive customer experience
  • Creating, innovating, managing, and implementing paid search campaigns for Google, Bing, Facebook ad platforms
  • Driving online traffic and revenue through paid search for national business, while assisting with local efforts.
  • Ongoing improvement efforts to meet goals, including: brainstorming and creating keyword lists, landing pages, ad copy, and negative keyword strategies
  • Collaborating with fellow teammates and leaders to devise new opportunities and execution of campaigns
  • Analyzing and reporting recommendations and results for improvement on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Communicating changes in strategy and optimizations made to all levels of leadership, which helped meet and exceed business financial plans
  • Collaborating strategically with external agencies to ensure success of online campaigns
  • Staying in-the-know of current trends relevant to online digital strategy to advance existing skills
  • Fearlessly taking on new challenges and training to grow your abilities and career in ever-changing world of paid search
  • Collaborating with Google team on trends identified from Data that was analyzed by yourself and team members.

Need-To-Haves:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, another business field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and presentation skills with the ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Knowledge of calculating figures and amounts such as profit margins, discounts, and percentages
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong aptitude for accuracy
  • Strong technology skills with an advanced understanding of posting and updating on 3rd party platforms
  • A natural curiosity for how things work and the ability to adapt to ever-changing digital world
  • Ability to work autonomously and part of a team environment, and to keep a high degree of confidentiality of all department and company information
  • Prompt and reliable attendancea

Love-To-Haves:

  • Basic understanding of paid search and remarketing strategy
  • Direct Experience in Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Meta Business Suite, and Microsoft Ads
  • Experience managing and optimizing product feeds for Google Merchant Center and other digital advertising platforms
  • Project management experience
  • Bonus points for tool and equipment industry knowledge
