Physician - Primary Care

The Eastern Colorado VA is currently recruiting for two Primary Care Physicians to serve as gap providers, one for our Aurora location as well as one for our Colorado Springs location.

Primary care at ECHCS includes, but is not limited to, assessment, diagnosis treatment, and monitoring outcome measures of healthcare problems of patients presenting with internal medicine concerns. A nonexclusive list includes the following: - Performing histories and physicals - Initiating and adjusting therapeutic regimens - Ordering medications/supplies in accordance with VA policy and the VA formulary - Providing appropriate follow up care - Triage of patients with non-medicine complaints, diseases, and injuries to appropriate disciplines for diagnosis and treatment Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
