You will design and implement high-performance C++ backend systems for defense autonomy products. You will build reliable infrastructure for contested environments, translate mission requirements into software, own engineering work from architecture through deployment, and work directly with defense customers.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance C++ backend systems
- Build scalable and reliable infrastructure for autonomous systems
- Translate mission requirements into software solutions with researchers, product teams, and customers
- Own engineering work from architecture through deployment
- Contribute to technical standards and engineering practices
- Interface with DoD programs and defense customers
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong C++ experience
- Systems programming, concurrency, performance optimization, and distributed-systems expertise
- Interest in autonomy, robotics, or physical AI
- Python proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to hold or eligibility for a U.S. Secret security clearance
