Senior EOL Test Engineer Quality

You will work on-site with self-driving trucks and develop, deploy, and execute hardware test plans. You will analyze data, debug system and component failures, perform root-cause analysis, use diagnostic tools, build testing utilities, support manufacturing teams, and coordinate quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site at a partner facility in Livonia
• Work hands-on with self-driving trucks
• Design and implement hardware test plans
• Deploy testing scripts and software, analyze data, and create test reports
• Troubleshoot and debug system and component failures
• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Use diagnostic software, measurement instruments, CAN tools, test harnesses, and fixtures
• Use Linux and Python for testing and debugging
• Build tools for test and quality-management data systems
• Coordinate solutions with engineering and manufacturing teams
• Support manufacturing technicians with hardware issues
• Support continuous improvement and non-conformance management
• Create and update work instructions

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Three or more years of relevant quality, autonomous vehicle manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly operations, or robotics experience
• Embedded software knowledge
• C++ or Python programming and scripting
• TCP/UDP, CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, and UART testing experience
• System architecture, electrical schematic, and mechanical drawing interpretation
• Linux experience
