Senior Software Engineer Accounting and Ledger Systems

You will design and extend core ledger accounts, postings, and account-type structures. You will own chart-of-accounts and reporting capabilities, verify balances, support reconciliation, and design scalable data models for financial products. You will partner with engineering teams to model ownership, ledger placement, pricing, and reconciliation before features ship.

Responsibilities

• Design and extend core ledger accounts, postings, and account-type structures
• Own the chart of accounts and reporting surface
• Verify balances and support reconciliation across on-chain data and off-chain books
• Partner with engineering teams on financial modeling for new features
• Design data models for new financial products

Requirements

• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, chart-of-accounts design, financial statements, reconciliation, and audit requirements
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Experience designing data models for correctness-critical systems
• Extensible system-design skills for schemas and APIs
• Ability to critique technical designs across multiple systems
• Cross-functional communication with Finance, Data Engineering, and Product
