Senior Software Engineer Data Infrastructure

You will scale data infrastructure across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and regional deployments. You will work across collection, ingestion, storage, querying, and retrieval; optimize data-processing pipelines; build performant query interfaces and integration hooks; and deploy high-quality software using modern open-source technologies.

Responsibilities

• Scale infrastructure across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and regional deployments
• Support the end-to-end data lifecycle from product to infrastructure
• Build data-ingestion and indexing pipeline features
• Enable performant query interfaces and integration hooks
• Develop and deploy high-quality software using open-source technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Experience with large-scale open-source data technologies including Spark, Kafka, Hudi, or Flyte
• Experience with containerization and modern software-development workflows
• Knowledge of when to use open source versus building in-house
