Sensor Validation Engineer

You will lead sensor validation and characterization for sensor simulation and self-driving products. You will execute validation protocols for lidar, radar, camera, and ultrasonic sensors, validate physical sensor performance against simulated models, and refine machine learning and physical sensing models. You will collaborate with engineering teams to connect physical sensor data with synthetic model development.

Responsibilities

• Lead sensor validation and characterization for sensor simulation and self-driving products
• Execute validation and characterization protocols for lidar, radar, camera, and ultrasonic sensors
• Improve synthetic simulation fidelity through machine learning and physical sensing models
• Validate physical sensor performance against simulated models
• Collaborate on physical sensor data and synthetic model development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience
