Software Engineer Infrastructure Tooling

You will design, build, and maintain core libraries, frameworks, and developer tools. You will own infrastructure for building and testing Android Automotive OS, operate the Gerrit code-review system, develop automated code-analysis tooling, and establish tooling standards across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core libraries, frameworks, and developer tools
• Own and improve developer infrastructure for building and testing Android Automotive OS
• Operate and maintain the Gerrit code-review system
• Develop and maintain automated code analysis, static analysis, and quality-gating tooling
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve code quality, build performance, and release workflows
• Establish tooling and infrastructure best practices and standards
• Act as the primary technical owner for Android Automotive OS developer tooling

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• At least 1 year of experience at an automotive technology company
• At least 12 months of experience using C++, Python, ROS, Blaze, Critique, and gRPC/Protocol buffers
