Software Integration Engineer - Defense

You will define vehicle hardware architectures, coordinate procurement and harness work, and specify sensor-tuning requirements. You will work with autonomy and controls teams on drive-by-wire validation, identify technical risks, lead vehicle builds and installs onsite, and support engineering site setup across regions.

Responsibilities

• Define vehicle hardware architecture and drive procurement of long-lead components
• Coordinate wiring harness design, sensor mounting, and cross-team dependencies
• Specify and track sensor-tuning requirements
• Scope drive-by-wire validation and tuning plans with autonomy and controls teams
• Identify technical risks and drive resolution
• Lead vehicle builds, hardware installations, and demo preparation onsite
• Assess infrastructure needs and prepare hardware for regulatory and compliance site visits
• Resolve integration issues across hardware, embedded, and autonomy software teams

Requirements

• 2+ years of systems or integration engineering experience
• Working knowledge of vehicle hardware integration, harnessing, sensor and compute mounting, and hardware architecture
• Ability to make and own engineering tradeoffs under deadlines
• Ability to travel extensively, internationally, and for multi-week stretches
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to hold or obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance
