Systems Engineer, Perception - Autonomy Trucking

You will define, monitor, and manage perception-subsystem requirements for autonomous driving. You will evaluate system safety and performance, develop verification and validation pipelines, align requirements with software teams, collaborate on sensor hardware, and manage project goals and execution.

Responsibilities

• Design, monitor, and manage perception subsystem requirements
• Evaluate the subsystem against intended requirements
• Support tools development for deriving perception requirements
• Develop and manage scalable perception verification and validation pipelines
• Coordinate perception requirements with software teams
• Collaborate with hardware teams on perception sensor design
• Set project goals and manage timely task execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years of systems engineering experience in the automotive industry
• Experience with perception systems
• Expertise in sensor modalities for autonomous driving
• Scripting expertise for perception requirements frameworks and evaluation, preferably Python
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
• Experience with ADAS, autonomous systems, and robotics
