Role Overview

As the Junior Lodge Manager, you will work closely with senior management to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the property. This is a hands-on role perfect for an ambitious hospitality professional looking to advance their career in lodge management.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Relations: Welcome guests, manage check-ins/check-outs, and resolve guest queries or complaints efficiently to maintain high satisfaction.
• Operational Supervision: Oversee housekeeping, front of house, and food and beverage services to ensure standard operating procedures are met.
• Staff Coordination: Assist in supervising, scheduling, and motivating the team.
• Administration: Handle basic administrative tasks, stock control, ordering, and daily reporting.
• Property Management: Conduct regular walk-throughs to ensure the property, rooms, and common areas are pristine and well-maintained.

Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a hospitality or lodge environment (front of house, duty management, or similar role).
• Education: A diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management or Tourism is advantageous.

• Skills

  Excellent communication, strong leadership potential, and problem-solving abilities.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with hospitality property management systems (PMS) and MS Office.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work hospitality hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Logistics: Valid driver’s license and dependable transport.
