2nd Shift Machine Operator- 8 hour Shifts

We are looking at filling a 2nd shift machine operator. Shift hours are 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday.

The machine operator at Dura-Fibre may be cross trained in various roles on the production floor. We also have a need for machine operators to work on designated machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist equipment operators as required.
• General cleanup around machines and other moving equipment.
• Observe machine operation to detect quality issues and machine malfunction. Set up and operate any equipment as needed to perform the job assigned
• Stage pallet for upcoming orders
• Lock-Out-Tag-Out equipment as required
• Maintaining regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability are conditions of employment and essential function of this position.
• Additional duties as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications

• Computer skills
• Read and write in the English language
• Be able to communicate with all departments in the organization
• Be able to perform basic math (prior to hire, candidate must pass math testing)

Education and Experience Required

• High School Diploma required
• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
