7-Eleven Store Manager
Job DescriptionRole Summary
Lead day-to-day store operations to hit sales, service, and compliance targets. You’ll manage people and product, keep the store spotless, own the P&L, and ensure every guest leaves happier than they arrived.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Sales
- Drive daily/weekly sales through merchandising, promos, and upselling.
- Maintain planograms; keep shelves full, faced, and dust-free; eliminate “sticky” surfaces.
- Oversee deliveries and accurate check-ins.
Customer Experience
- Set the tone: friendly, fast, and family-style service.
- Resolve complaints and log incidents when needed.
People Leadership
- Hire, schedule, train, and coach team members; certify new hires before solo shifts.
- Hold standards on attendance and performance; build team morale with regular feedback.
Cash & Paperwork
- Complete Daily Cash Reports, deposits, payouts, and shift summaries accurately.
- Monitor cash over/short and investigate variances.
Inventory, Audits & Loss Prevention
- Prepare for quarterly third-party inventories; maintain target retail inventory levels (~$140k).
- Reduce shrink via spot checks, cameras, and securing high-risk items.
Financial Management
- Review monthly financials (typically released the 2nd Tuesday); own P&L levers (COGS, labor, waste).
- Translate insights into action plans to improve margin and throughput.
Compliance & Safety
- Enforce ID checks; no sales of alcohol/tobacco to minors.
- Maintain clean, safe facilities; know evacuation routes; report incidents same day.
Communication
- Run daily huddles; keep issue logs.
- Send weekly summaries and escalate major issues immediately.

Qualifications
- 2+ years in retail/food or convenience leadership (7-Eleven experience a plus).
- Proven team leadership: hiring, scheduling, coaching.
- Comfortable with basic financials (P&L, COGS, labor %) and POS/reporting tools.
- Compliance-minded: alcohol/tobacco laws, safety, and food-safe habits.

Schedule & Physical Requirements

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
