The Academic Interventionist is responsible for working with students aged 6 to 21, instructing in Fluency, Comprehension, Mathematics and Vocabulary. The Academic Interventionist will work as part of a team, supporting the student-centered intervention process that is designed to overcome individual student challenges. The position offers the chance to work with a diverse population of students and their families across the US through online sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide intervention designed to improve academic achievement in students both online and in Shelby and Jefferson County, Alabama
- Be able to facilitate and document parent-teacher conferences.
- Work with other school professionals to develop customized intervention plans.
- Follow and create rigorous standards for progression.
- Create Lesson Plans and academic materials tailored to the needs of individual students.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
