Starting pay: $18.00/hour
An Interventionist supports the behavior intervention process used to meet the needs of students and to promote willingness to learn, safe, responsible and respectful behaviors. Preventative and replacement strategies are reinforced and reviewed - involving social skills, emotional regulation, and coping skills. Interventionists and students collaboratively problem-solve to address unsolved problems, difficulty behaviors, and lagging skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Responds to intervention calls to support students and staff
Utilizes CPI de-escalation and movement techniques
Supports students and teachers with behavior plans
Inputs intervention data to best support students
Participates in debriefing meetings
Contacts and documents parents/guardians in a timely manner
Collaborates with all staff members
Visits classrooms to positively support when available
