Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making processes.
- Support the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (Great Plains) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Previous experience in a similar accounting role is required

Pay: $22.17 - $26.70 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
