About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to support the daily operational and financial needs of our fund clients, as well as internal finance tasks. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting and operations, and a desire to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Fund & Client Responsibilities:
- Assist with fund accounting and bookkeeping
- Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements and fund accounts
- Liaise with auditors and tax agents on fund-related matters
- Support preparation of tax computations and documentation
- Process payments and maintain payment records for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date fund documentation and working files
Internal Company Responsibilities:
- Assist with internal bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Support accounts receivable functions, including drafting and sending follow-up emails to clients
- Assist in payroll preparation and related administrative duties
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain organized records for invoices, payroll, and payments
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in fund operations, accounting, or similar roles preferred (fresh graduates welcome to apply)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Xero; experience with other accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- A team player with good communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
