Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of reports.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording debits and credits.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Support month-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with other team members for accounting processes
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software Sage/Timberline, Excel Spreadsheets
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including account reconciliation.
- Experience with general ledger accounting is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience as a bookkeeper is required.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy.

Pay: $23.41 - $24.10 per hour
