Do you have a passion for mathematics and a desire to positively impact students' lives through education? iLearn Academy is seeking dedicated individuals with strong subject knowledge, a knack for connecting with students, and a minimum of two years of tutoring experience.
Founded in 2009 by an experienced teacher, iLearn Academy sets itself apart from typical tutoring chains in the marketplace. Our tutors have the privilege of having their own classrooms and assigned students, allowing them to build trust and foster academic growth. We provide comprehensive training and support, utilizing our proprietary and effective curriculum aligned with both local school standards and national academic requirements.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Must have reliable transportation to our center.
- Demonstrates strong teamwork and work ethic.
- Newly retired teachers are encouraged to apply.
- College students in their junior or senior year pursuing majors in mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, or history.
- Flexible scheduling options available during our office hours, Monday - Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.
- Summer Program Hours (June 23rd - August 15), Monday - Friday, 10 am - 6 pm.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher education is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
- Tutors applying for ACT/SAT test prep positions must complete a mock exam at our center.

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects in high school math & science, and the math and science sections of the ACT or SAT.
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on students' needs and curriculum requirements.
- Assist students in understanding complex concepts and improving their academic performance.
- Help students with homework assignments, test preparation, and projects.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
