Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital is seeking qualified applicants in our search for an Adjunct Instructor for our Metropolitan Veterinary Academy.
Metropolitan Veterinary Academy is excited to offer Adjunct Instructor positions. Adjunct Instructors are willing to teach our veterinary assistant program students on a rotating, eight-week basis. We will work with your regular work schedule to allow you time to teach.
We are seeking individuals to teach in the following specialized areas:
Veterinary Principles and Practices · Veterinary Front Office Procedures · Veterinary Medical Terminology · Animal Restraint and Handling · Veterinary Pharmacology · Common Diseases of Small Animals · Veterinary Laboratory Procedures · Anatomy & Physiology I · Anatomy & Physiology II · Radiology · Surgical Preparation & Assisting · Externship Coordinator

Pay:
- Based on experience and education.
Schedule:
- Rotating 2 to 6 hour weekly commitment, depending on the class. Classes rotate throughout the year and are eight weeks in length.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of animal health and the veterinary industry obtained through experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Education and Experience:
- Preferred qualifications: Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology and current RVT license, along with a minimum of four years of work experience as an RVT.
