Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children. This role involves providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children in our care, ensuring their well-being and promoting their growth through various activities.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Plan and implement school-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies.
- Maintain a clean and organized setting to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure the health and safety of all children in the facility.
Requirements
- Previous experience in babysitting or childcare is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to provide care for school-aged children.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- A compassionate approach to caregiving with a focus on creating a supportive learning environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
Schedule:
- After school
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
