Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for operational tasks associated with Product Configuration, Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM) Integrity, and Document Control. This includes database input of information relative to Configuration Management following company procedures. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Allocate company specifications and revisions per company policies and procedures.Review drawings and specifications for engineering drawing change completeness, coordinating discrepancies with Project Engineering.Follow team procedures to insure of quality release of a document.Set up Change Tasks and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) within ENOVIA, the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.Audit drawings and EBOM per company policies and procedures.Create Logical Features for programs and attach EBOM for Velocity consumption.Maintain EBOM configurations for quality assurance.Verify Change Tasks once an aircraft has been licensed against the change task.Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.May lead special projects. A degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Aviation, or related field required, along with minimum 2 years of engineering data, configuration management, or other relative experience.
- In lieu of degree, a minimum of 6 years of engineering data, configuration management, or other relative experience is required
- Operational experience with Product Lifecycle Management toolsets required.
