We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care and handling, with a focus on providing exceptional care to a variety of animals. This role requires a commitment to the well-being of animals, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Animal Care Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all animals receive the highest standard of care, including feeding, and monitoring health.
Duties
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding and habitat upkeep.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of animal areas.
- We have a variety of small animals that require individual care.
Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for animal welfare. You need a passion for all animals (human too!!)
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
Work Location: In person
