Job Overview
The Make Ready Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that residential and commercial properties are prepared for occupancy. This position involves a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, requiring a blend of technical skills and hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving abilities to maintain high standards of property readiness.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and repairs.
- Perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC as required.
- Execute residential painting tasks to ensure aesthetic appeal and property upkeep
- Maintain facilities through routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
- Supervise maintenance staff as needed, providing guidance and leadership on projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all duties.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Proficient in electrical experience, welding, and mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with tenants and staff.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes can be beneficial for certain repair tasks.
- Fluency in English is required for effective communication. This position requires a versatile skill set to ensure properties are ready for new occupants while maintaining a high level of quality in all work performed. must be dependable and reliable.
