Job Summary
The Assistant Manager at Petite Suzette supports the General Manager in daily operations to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities include supervising front-of-house staff, maintaining service standards, assisting with scheduling, training, and inventory, and stepping in to resolve guest concerns. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment and helps uphold the restaurant's charming and refined ambiance.
Duties
- Support daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Supervise and lead front-of-house staff during shifts
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and service quality
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and labor management
- Train and coach new and existing team members to uphold service excellence
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with the General Manager on operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Oversee opening and closing procedures
- Participate in inventory management and supply ordering
- Help manage reservations and special events to optimize guest flow
- Lead by example with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
