Job Summary:
The Assistant Operations Manager assists the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations and staff, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include assisting in operational strategy implementation, leading operations staff to meet standards, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance, preparing operational performance reports, collaborating with other departments, assisting in staff recruitment and training, monitoring daily activities, analyzing and interpreting policies, investigating issues, and developing methods for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Essential skills include leadership, communication, organizational abilities, budget management, understanding of regulations and safety, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and staff management experience. Proficiency in project management, analytical skills, data analysis, process improvement methodologies, and inventory management software may also be required.
Qualifications:
- Operations Management, or a related field preferred, or a combination of relevant experience
- Proven experience (e.g., 3-5 years) in operations, project management, or a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
