Candidates with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, identify problems and implement solutions, and maintain meticulous cloud-based paperless files should have experience in the following:
- Personal Injury & Employment Law Attorneys
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills when communicating with clients, adjusters, medical providers, experts, defense counsel and Court personnel.
- Ability to proactively handle a caseload of 75-100 files from intake through settlement/ trial, including drafting Complaints, Motions and responsive pleadings, as well as Specials/Discovery/Arbitration/ Mediation/Friendly Hearing/Trial packages, Releases and other settlement documents.
- Ability to independently conduct depositions and attend all Court proceedings.
- Maintain a Tally of PIP Ledgers, EOBs, Health Insurance, Medicare and/or Medicaid records. Filing PIP Arbitrations/Lawsuits when necessary.
- Legal database software, Needles/Neos, experience is a plus
- Office 365- Word, Excel, Outlook, One Drive and SharePoint
