Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, environmental law, and family law. This role requires exceptional research and writing skills, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate on behalf of clients. The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys to provide comprehensive legal services and support across multiple practice areas.
Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist in litigation processes by preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Represent clients in various legal matters including estate planning, immigration law, landlord-tenant disputes, personal injury cases, and workers' compensation claims.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases involving securities law, patent law, tribal law & regulations, and environmental law.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while maintaining ethical standards and best practices.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation within the law office to ensure efficient workflow.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, and patent law.
- Proficient in legal research techniques and tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
- Prior experience in a legal administrative role is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
