Job Summary

As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality breads, pastries, and desserts while adhering to food safety standards. Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of items including breads, cakes, pastries, and other desserts.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to enhance presentation.
- Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
- Follow recipes accurately while also being open to experimenting with new flavors and techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus or special event offerings.
- Package finished products for display or catering orders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, particularly in baking and pastry arts.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail, especially in cake decorating and presentation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
