Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, contributing to an unforgettable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving to guests.
- Assist servers by refilling drinks, clearing tables, and providing additional support as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred, particularly in catering or hospitality settings such as hotels or nightclubs.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are necessary for success in this role.
