Experience

• 1-3 years experience in a coffee shop required
• Latte art skills are required
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
• Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems, particularly TOAST POS, is a plus.
• Knowledge of food service practices and food handling regulations is beneficial.
• A genuine passion for coffee and customer service is essential for success in this role.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently using the cash register or Aloha POS system.
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations while preparing food items.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting needs to management.
• Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
