Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service and support. This role also includes active sales responsibilities, such as promoting products through sampling, upselling, and preparing beverages like coffee. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and respond to inquiries or concerns in a friendly, professional manner
- Handle cash and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Assist customers with food selections and provide information about menu offerings
- Offer samples to every customer to promote new or featured items
- Drive sales by actively engaging with customers, making product recommendations, and upselling when appropriate
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to customer specifications
- Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Keep the service area clean, organized, and inviting
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or food service preferred
- Experience in coffee preparation or barista duties is a plus
- Strong cash handling skills and basic math proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in both customer service and sales
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
