Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food service industry, with experience in various fast paced environments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving beverages while providing exceptional customer service to ensure an enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Process transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, ensuring proper handling of cash and credit card payments.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers at the bar.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Toast POS experience is a plus)
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and retail math is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be of legal drinking age according to local regulations.
