Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and providing change.
- Assist in brewing coffee or other beverages as required for service.
- Participate in special events or banquets as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential.
- Must be of legal drinking age according to local regulations.
