Job Summary
We are seeking a quality individual enthusiastic Bartender to join our 50+ year organization. The ideal candidate must be a committed team play who has a passion to be the best in thier field. Mus have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have the best possible experience at our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle POS transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, especially during banquets or special events.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers in a high-volume setting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience bartending is necessary, particularly in fine dining establishments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus for managing inventory and sales reports.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in drink preparation.
- Knowledge of various cocktail recipes and an eagerness to learn new techniques in mixology is highly desirable.
