Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage tabs using the Aloha POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events to ensure seamless service.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere while promoting menu items and specials.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and alcohol regulations.
- Familiarity with retail math for managing cash handling effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
