An international material distributor company in Tacoma, WA area is looking for candidates for their administrative assistant/receptionist position who has experience in Adobe Suite software.
This position is responsible for administrative and front-desk duties. You will spend your first several months to focus mainly on business administrative work and front desk task. Once you get used to your regular responsibilities, the company's manager will slowly introduce you more responsibilities.
Also, you must be a bilingual in Japanese and English. It is huge plus if you understand and has actual work experience of working at Japanese corporations.
The ideal candidate is someone who speak English fluently because you will be required to greet everyone who visit the office. Also, this position requires you to be in the office Monday to Friday (No WFH or Hybrid options).
This is a direct hired position with 90 days of probation period.
You will receive Medical, Vison and Dental Insurance after completing your first 90 days. Also, there will be short-term and long-term disability insurance.
PTO and sick days leave are also included.
Responsibilities for administrative assistant/receptionist position :
- Greet and direct visitors in a professional manner
- Maintain log of visitor arrivals and departures
- Maintain database of required visitor documentation
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally and route calls to appropriate party
- Provide communication to department administrative staff regarding documentation collection time and coordinate pick-up time with vendor
- Assist with development and distribution of company-wide newsletter
- Create company-wide fliers and newsletter utilizing InDesign and post throughout facilities
- Perform other duties assigned
Requirements for administrative assistant/receptionist position:
- Bachelor degree in Business or related majors are preferred
- Must be Japanese and English bilinguals (Speak/Read/Write)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills – speak and write
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at an Intermediate or higher level
- Must have experience in MS Publisher or Adobe InDesign
- 1+ years administrative / office clerk experience is preferred
- Strong at numbers and calculation
- Team worker, punctual, organized, details oriented
- Drivers license and your own vehicle (There are no public transpiration access around the office)
